About The Event

Puppies + Yoga by Willow City Farm!

Our schedule just changed, and opened up a last minute puppy party!  Yoga + 7 big white fluffy seven-week-old Great Pyrenees pups + Cocktails at Willow City Farm?  Yes, please!  And, you can be sure some baby goats will make an appearance, too.

Willow City Farm breeds, trains, and sells Livestock Guardian Dogs.  Two of our Great Pyrenees working dogs, Yeti and Sawyer had an adorable litter of 7 pups.  Before these dogs leave to go work at their new farms across the country, we're having a going away event for them...  Puppies + Yoga!

Join us for this one-time-only class to enjoy some outdoor time with SEVEN big white 7-week-old fluff balls!  Just like our Goats + Yoga program, you don't have to be  a seasoned yogi to join us.  All skill levels are welcome!

Come for the yoga and nama-stay for some cocktails and farm time - you can check out some of the other animals living at Willow City Farm while you're here, and our store will be open for some shopping, too!  Check out the new barn -   (Fingers crossed it will be done!)

Juneau, Blizzard, Tundra, Denali, Yukon, Balto and Togo cannot wait to play with you!

This event is kid-friendly, so come on out!

Sorry, but all guests must have a paid ticket to enter the farm.

What is a Livestock Guardian Dog??  (LGD)

Willow City Farm raises a wide variety of livestock, and must keep them protected from coyotes, opossum, raccoons, minks, beavers, muskrats, and a plethora of other predators.  We keep them safe with the use of our Great Pyrenees and Italian Maremma Shepherds, Tundra, Ice, Yeti, Sawyer and Huck.

LGDs are considered working dogs, and an integral part of our farm.  Although they are considered livestock, @ WCF, they are our pets, too.  Most of the puppies you will meet won't leave to go to traditional households, but will be adopted to other farmers and ranchers all over the country as working livestock.

Livestock guardian dogs stay with the group of animals they protect as a full-time member of the flock or herd. Their ability to guard their herd is mainly instinctive as the dog is bonded to the herd from an early age.  Unlike herding dogs, which control the movement of livestock, LGDs blend in with them, watching for intruders within the flock.
