2023 Willow City Farm Price List

We do not ship any meat products.
Here's how the process works:
Once you have placed your deposit, we'll send you a confirmation to let you know when your meat should be available. Sometime before cutting, we'll go over the butcher cut instructions with you step by step. It can be confusing, but we'll ask you all kinds of questions to determine the right cuts for you. Do you have a big family, or small? Do you have a smoker? Do you like your steaks REALLY thick, or just average? We'll cover it all with you!
When will it be ready?
For steer, they will hang and dry age for about 14 - 21 days. We will deliver the meat as soon as it's ready!
Hogs don't dry age, but the cure does take 2 weeks, so if you have ham or bacon in your order, expect it ready about 2 weeks after the butcher date.
Lamb and goat are available within the week of the butcher date.

How much does it cost?

Beef: The average WHOLE steer's hanging weight is 760lbs. Grass fed steer are a little less. Beef prices are between $5/lb to $6/lb hanging weight. The processing fees are extra, and are on average $90/lb. Slaughter and disposal fees vary as well, and are about $75 per WHOLE steer.

Pork: The average WHOLE hog's hanging weight is 140#. Pork prices are around $3.90/lb hanging weight. The processing fees are extra, and are on overage $.75/lb. Slaughter and disposal fees vary as well, and are about $50 per WHOLE hog.
Current Availability and Price Sheet - Summer/Fall 2023
Eggs - Chicken AND duck eggs are available in the spring. Just contact us to come pick them up at the farm!
Broiler Chicken - Broiler chickens are available in mid-late summer. Check back for availability.
Turkey - Due to an upcoming surgery in November, Willow City Farm will not be raising turkey for the 2023 year. We'll be back in 2024!
Whole, half or quarter cow -August, September October and December 2023 availability. At this time, Willow City Farm does not have individual cuts of beef available. (You can still order whole, half, or quarters.) You can text or email your order and we will get back to you to schedule a pickup or delivery time.
Dirt-Raised Pork - Next processing dates are in August, October and December of 2023. We will have more hogs available, and butcher dates are relatively easy to get, so just ask if you're looking for a whole hog!
Grass-Fed Lamb and Goat - We curretnly have goat and lamb available as individual cuts. As of summer of 2023, it has become much easier to reserved butcher dates, so if you would like to purchase whole or half lamb, contact us. Read about our grass-fed lamb here.
